What is the CCNA certification?

CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) is an information technology (IT) certification from Cisco Systems. CCNA certification is an associate-level Cisco Career certification.

The Cisco exams have changed several times in response to the changing IT trends. In 2020, Cisco announced an update to its certification program that “Consolidated and updated associate level training and certification.” Cisco has consolidated the previous different types of Cisco-Certified Network Associate with a general CCNA certification.

The content of the exams is proprietary. Cisco and its learning partners offer a variety of different training methods, including books published by Cisco Press, and online and classroom courses available under the title “Interconnecting Cisco Network Devices”.

New Format: This exam training class includes lecture sections and some self-study sections. Class lectures are delivered by a certfied instructor, in real-time (regardless of attendance method). Cisco then requires that students complete the training with additional self-study in/on their own time.

Does your organization offer this course in a 'live' format?

Yes, we have a number of options which are available if your organization has the need for some classroom training.

Option 1 – Public Course

dOccasionally, we offer public courses enabling learners to sign up an attend if they happen to be in the area or would like to travel to participate in class. This class is a 3 day instructor led course and a paper based exam is administered at the end of the course.

Just think, you are only 3 days away from being CWNA certified!

Option 2 – Virtual Course

We offer instructor led courses covering the same material but in a dynamic format which can focus more more on individual learners needs. This is typically done over a 3 day period in a very similar approach to the public or onsite course offerings.

Option 3 – Onsite Course

If your organization has several people that need to become CWNA certified, we can provide an instructor to come to your facility and provide instruction over a three day period. At the end of the class, an paper based exam will be administered.

In each of the options listed above, learners will be given access to the site and will be able to view the training videos, the courseware, and the test engines prior to the start of class to give them a bit of a running start.
